The E-Heads concert this Saturday (August 30) is probably the most disorganized, most perplexing yet most awaited concert in the history of our country. It’s so strange — and annoying, I should say — how the news about the concert changes every couple of hours. Here’s the latest I read from Odysseylive.net:

A couple of minutes ago i got a message saying information that made me jump out of my seat! It said that folks involved with MTV Philippines have taken over the show of the Eraserheads reunion concert and that ticket prices have been changed to P800 and P1300! Immediately i made the call to MTV to find out if these reports were true…indeed they are!!!
Radiohead Media Solutions, Inc. announces the acquisition of the concert rights to the much awaited one-night-only Eraserheads reunion this coming Saturday, 30 August 2008. The Reunion is to be slated at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field.
It has officially been confirmed that the Eraserheads One Night only Reunion concert has been taken over by Radiohead Media Solutions! After Marlboro pulled out, it seems like they took on the responsibility of doing the show and giving the fans what they want!!! Not only that, but ticket prices are also now at P800 and P1300. Tickets will be sold at ticketworld starting august 28 and you can call them for inquiries at 891-9999.
I know im the first one to release this info and many of you may not believe me but this news comes directly from MTV’s head honcho! Believe it or not!!!
Really, I don’t know who or what to believe anymore. I guess we’ll all know tomorrow, August 28. Or the day after that. Or the concert day itself? If you ask me, they should just postpone the concert and get things more organized. But I also understand that a lot of people have been waiting for this since the day the rumors of an Eraserheads reunion first came out. So okay, whatever works for them.

hayyy…. panu nman po ung mga d kaya ung ticket … like most of the fans are student like me… ang mahal ng 800 lalu na ung 1300 php… wala bang 300 or 450 T_T sayang kung d “namin” mapapanood wala na sigurong kasunod to. andami namin ng mga tropa kong umaasang mapanood to… sorry nlng cguro samin..
Oo nga sobrang confusing siya I gave up na.. until one opportunity opened and I immediately grabbed it. :|

Rocky: May kamahalan nga talaga. Disappointing talaga lalo yung initial plan was to have a free concert. Pero wala eh, ganun talaga. Wala na tayong magagawa. Isipin na lang natin na at least matutuloy ang reunion nila. :)

It’s all about the money nowadays, prior to the reunion concert, remember that ely buendia is rumored to have been offered P10M! pero P4M lang pala to be exact, as what the marlboro guy told sa goodtimes with mo & .. sa magic 89.9.
Sobra akong naexcite when i heard the news of a free reunion concert. i even registered sa red list ng marlboro kahit di talaga ako smoker. dat’s how desperate i am seeing eheads together again live.
pero wat hapend? tama lang naman ang doh kung tutuusin. sumikat pa tuloy tayo sa washington bcoz of the news re sponsorship ng cigarette factory sa beatles of the philippines concert (ito ngang eheads).
at that price!!! P1300!? for sure di pumayag c ely na hindi maibigay sa kanya what is due to him! kaya ang siningil, yung mga atat na fans!
parang caltex, shell at petron, yung burden ng pagtaas ng presyo ng gasolina pinapasa sa end-users without affecting their income.

tol natural na pagkakaperahan nila ang concert, di naman amateur yang mga yan eh. professional. kung ayaw mo ng presyo manahimik na lang tayo di ung kung ano ano pang sinasabi mo. magsumikap ka kagaya niila para may pambili ka ng ticket mo.

Masaya at nakakalungkot ang reunion concert.
Masaya kasi at least nakita ko silang nagpeperform at malungkot kasi napakaiksi lang ng concert.It started past 8 p.m. and lasted past 10 pm.After kasi ng unang set,may nakacountdown dun para sa 20-minute break pero nakakapagtataka kasi lampas na ng 20 minutes di pa sila lumabas ulit.Then after few minutes lumabas na ung band members except Ely kasama nila kapatid ni Ely.
At biglang nag announce kapatid nya,”We would like to thank everyone for supporting the Reunion Concert of the Eraserheads.We however regret to inform you that due to my brother’s poor health because of the emotional and physical stress that he has been experiencing,we apologize for cutting the concert short.My brother had to be rushed to the hospital for medical attention.Again we apologize and thank you to all of you for coming here tonight.Parang binagsakan ako ng langit ng marinig ko yun,nakakalungkot

Pero,at least nakita ko din naman silang nagpeperform at nakuha pang magjoke ni Ely kahit papano.For me,that concert was the memorable concert na nakita ko,kasi napakaiksi at napakaemotional.Halos lahat ng mga tao dun nasa denial stage pa din kahit paulit ulit na sinabi ng announcer kung saan yung Exit.Pero kahit papano,masaya din naman ako kasi at least narinig ko naman yung ibang songs nila gaya ng Alapaap,With a Smile,Fruitcake at Too Old daw sabi ni Ely..hehehe.
Sana gumaling na po si Ely at may reunion concert ulit kahit half hour lang..

Ok ba yung concert?
ok pa sa alright ang concert..lol.sulit na sulit yung concert,nawala nga sa vocabulary ko yung word na “bitin” nung pinanood ko yung concert eh…
15 songs ba naman nakanta nila,madami na din yun.Tsaka iba yung feeling
nung andun ka talaga sa concert,parang nakakapangilabot,nakakaiyak,nakakatawa as in mixed emotions talaga sya.
I never had regrets of watching the concert.
Sa mga taong nagsasabing bitin,i hope naman u understand the situation,siguro naman kung kau nasa kalagayan ni Ely mahirap talaga yun.tsaka kung pwede wag na kayo manood sa reunion part 2 kasi baka mabitin na naman kau.joke lang.I hope naman maenlighten naman kau sa nangyari at matatanggap nyong wala na talagang refund.
Im so excited na to watch the part 2 at least may time pang mag effort para makahanap ng pera at bumili ng ticket…
