OK, I’ve decided to jump on the “2007 recap” bandwagon, but instead of doing it the usual way I decided to do it a little differently to make this post as brief as possible. Heh. Here are the 23 highlights of the year I turned 23 (just those posted in this ‘lil blog o’ mine):

As you can see, my 2007 wasn’t extraordinary, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. And for this year I have a few things that I want to do. I know “resolutions” are overrated but it’s always good to have goals, to start anew — and even more to begin at the very first day of the year coz that way, it feels like we’re given the chance to work on a clean slate (There’s no harm in that, right?). I don’t want to bore you so I’ll just sum it up into two parts and tell you that I’ll be doing my best to achieve these. Hah! Good luck!!
- I want to lose some more weight. And like Romzkee, I don’t want this to be just a 1-month or 2-month thing. We need to take some time off each other, carbs.
- Be a good steward of
myGod’s money. I’m gonna want to hang out with Rita more. That girl is so smart when it comes to financial management stuff and all those investment mumbo jumbo that I don’t get, lol. She gives really good advices and she doesn’t charge me a cent. Yay! Thanks, Rits :)
I’ve got more “new year’s resolutions” but they’re too personal, so I’d rather keep them to myself. Meanwhile, I hope you’re doing a good job with your own resolutions!

Happy New Year, Joni! From the sounds of it – you had an amazing year! (not too mention I gained a great designer at EW!) Here’s to a great ‘08!
“That girl is so smart when it comes to financial management stuff and all those investment mumbo jumbo that I don’t get, lol. She gives really good advices and she doesn’t charge me a cent.”

Glad you’ve had a wonderful year. This one’s my favorite: I want to lose some more weight.
haha. good luck. kaya yan.
Bheng HAHA. What can I say? Wishful thinking is my favorite habit. lol.
Sama ka ba later? See ya! :)
At least you wrote down your goals. Most of the self-help books I read say that those who write their goals have a greater chance of fulfilling them, sort of like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Just one thing though. Maybe you could make your goals more specific, positive and in the present participle tense (with -ing), with an emotion attached (read this is a book and tried it. it works) … I am happily weighing (insert desired weight here) by (desired date)… or I am gratefully saving 10% of my income monthly for my future.
Happy New Year…
jun: That’s a great idea! I obviously made a mistake there, hehe. Thanks. :)
Happy new year!
Way to go Jonibells! Good luck sa pagpapayat naten haha!
Happy New Year! See u later ha. :)
Huh.. wha? You got a new car and said 2007 isn’t extraordinary? Well, give it to me then and mourn for what you failed to cherish in the loss. :P
I just read Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, incidentally. I just reviewed it too. Yadda yadda yadda [insert poorly-masked "visit my blog" hint] yadda blah blah whatever hahaha.
So many wonderful things happened to you, so much to be thankful for!
I think blogging about one’s blessings help others realize about theirs too :)
Firstly, Happy new year :)
