It’s the mid of April, and, as expected, it’s too freakin’ hot! Not just outdoors, but indoors too. Not just during the hours when the sun is out, but even on evenings when there’s supposed to be a cool breeze blowing from outside. And not only does my forehead become dewy 2 minutes after I step out of the house, but it does 2 minutes after I step out of the bathroom! Waaah.
The only “cool” time I get nowadays is when I’m in the office. I don’t even go anywhere that’s more than 10 steps away from our building anymore to avoid the aggravating heat of the sun. I only walk as far as the MiniStop beside our office, either to buy lunch or get an ice-cold drink. Sheesh. And it’s not at all comforting to know that when the month of May arrives, it’s gonna be raining wild cats and dogs.
I wish it was January. I love the month of January. It’s the best month of all. Weather-wise.
Anyway, in time for the peak period of the summer season, I’ve updated my blog’s layout. That’s me up there, with a camera on one hand and a cold drink on the other, on one of our beach trips. Haha. But before you say “Hey, nice layout!” I must first tell you that this isn’t my design (obviously). The header image is from my WeeMee. I just saw a light bulb flick on inside my head so I made a Wordpress theme out of it. :D
WeeWorld is a social networking website that allows you to create an avatar for your visual identity. It’s kind of like Yahoo! Avatars but better since you can use it non-exclusively. You will also see my Multiply site looking something like this.
I was forced influenced by Sarah to give WeeWorld a whirl, much like the way Riz influenced me to join Twitter. Haha. I’m amazed at the growing number of social networking sites today. You would think that one has had enough just by being a member of MySpace or Friendster, but it seems more people are coming up with better ideas on how to creatively establish an online social community. But I’m not really a fan of this kind of websites. I don’t even update nor visit my Friendster that often. But I have to say WeeWorld and Twitter are very entertaining. :)

love your new theme! it’s ironic ‘cuz when i was in pinas, i really dreaded the scorching hot weather and couldn’t wait to get to a much cooler and less humid place. but now that i’m here, i really miss the hot weather in our country.hehe malakat gd ko sa beach when i come home this may. hehe :-)
I think web 2.0 is a good thing, since it’s a refreshing of old concepts to new. What I hate about it is the generic design styles it introduced trying to standardize everything but really shouldn’t.
